Polysomnographic technologist
[edit]In the article Polysomnographic technologist I attempted twice to place info about the RST credential, but no information about the RST credential was allowed. I commented about this in the discussion page for the article. Since a growing part of the ABSM's work involves the granting of the credential, I am again putting forth information about it. This time I list a larger number of sources. See footnotes 3 and 4. If someone objects to the inclusion of info about the RST, I think this time we need a true discussion about it. I propose getting several experienced editors to examine this.Bill Pollard (talk) 13:47, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Proposed article deletion
[edit]Ok,there is much info in footnotes 1-3 that are not independent of this board. However, footnote 4 has several independent sources, so I fail to see why this subject should be deleted. Also, this board is very much involved with the sleep medicine field. Bill Pollard (talk) 20:50, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
- From what I've found on a Google News search (which picked up the Sleep Review articles among others), there's a lot of passing mentions, but not a lot of significant coverage. It looks to me like it gets mentioned a lot as credentials, but I'm not sure it passes WP:GNG. ~Charmlet -talk- 21:42, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
More references
[edit]I said I would add a number of significant references to this article and I will work on that project tomorrow. Too tied up with appointments today to do this more quickly. Bill Pollard (talk) 12:00, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
